SEOEMS Board of Trustees

The SEOEMS Board of Trustees is organized pursuant to RC307.053

The County Commisioners of each member county of the joint EMS District appoints three Board members for one year terms. The three appointees must include an elected official, a health care representative, and a consumer representative. Since there are currently three participating counties, there are nine board members on the SEOEMS Board. The Board's primary functions include the adoption of general policy as well as maintaining the fiscal integrity of SEOEMS. The Board hires the Executive Director and appoints the Fiscal Officer. All other employment decisions are made by the Executive Director.
